An early morning altercation at a Northeast Side apartment complex resulted in the tragic loss of life yesterday. According to FOX San Antonio, police reported that the shooting occurred at the Oakstone Apartments just off NE Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel around 4:06 a.m. A man was reportedly seated in his car within the parking lot when an incident erupted with an individual in another vehicle that was seemingly checking other vehicles.
It seems that an exchange escalated between the victim and the suspect, and it fatally ended when one shot was fired to strike down the victim. Despite immediate attempts by first responders to quickly administer life-saving measures, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, as per police statements, managed to then flee in a black vehicle.
