According to KTLA, Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to reports of a stabbing around 9 p.m. and found a 39-year-old victim, possibly homeless, who was pronounced dead at a local hospital after sustaining multiple stab wounds. There's an ongoing search for the suspect, who is also believed to be a veteran, said to have fled the scene wearing dark-colored clothing.
The altercation, which took place on the 11700 block of San Vicente Boulevard, appeared to have escalated into a deadly confrontation involving a screwdriver and a crowbar, as per information provided by the LAPD to FOX LA.
