
A man is currently hospitalized and in critical condition after a daylight shooting in Homestead, as was the case at the parking lot of a Valero Gas Station, where police responded to the scene at the corner of Eighth Avenue and Ann Street shortly after 3 p.m. yesterday.

Tracy Holt, a local business owner whose establishment, Tracy's Place, lies a short distance from the gas station, heard the commotion and witnessed the aftermath of the shooting, "One of my customers came in moments later and said, ‘someone just got shot,’” she recalled in an interview with WPXI, she was among the first on the scene and noted the victim's injuries, "He was bleeding from under his arm,” Holt said. “He was bleeding on the side of his stomach."
