
San Antonio experienced a surge of violence in a domestic dispute late Tuesday night when a man was reportedly stabbed in the eye by his stepson. The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. at a residence on Gunsmoke Street, close to Loop 410, as confirmed by police officials. According to FOX San Antonio, the altercation unfolded in the backyard of the home where heated words escalated quickly into a physical confrontation.
The police report stated that the stepson, in the midst of the argument, pulled a knife to ultimately stab his stepfather in the right eye. The details surrounding the quarrel and what led the young man to such a grave act of violence have yet to fully emerge. The victim, while seriously injured, was rushed to the hospital and is currently in stable condition, as reported by FOX San Antonio.
Following the stabbing, the stepson was detained at the scene by responding officers.
