The Manteca Police Department responded to 105 fireworks-related calls for service over the holiday weekend and issued 109 administrative citations totaling over $130,000 in fines. Of these, 96 citations were issued on last Friday, and 61 were captured using drone technology. The department also handled 88 Be On the Lookout calls during the three-day period, as reported by the Manteca Police Department.

The Manteca Police Department used five drones for a total of 23.5 hours to support ground operations during the enforcement of fireworks laws. Despite "challenging wind conditions," the drones worked alongside patrol cars, motorcycles, and unmarked vehicles to respond to illegal fireworks activity across the city.

According to the Manteca Police Department on their Facebook page, they expressed appreciation to the community, stating, "Thanks to your vigilance and accurate reporting, our officers were able to respond quickly and effectively." The department noted that this year’s enforcement efforts had a "big impact" on maintaining safety during the holiday period. Despite these efforts, incidents involving illegal fireworks remained a concern.
