The Metropolitan Police Department has issued a call for public assistance in tracking down several suspects linked to a theft at a local CVS store. According to a news release by MPD, the incident occurred on June 30, 2025, at about 5:11 p.m. when First District officers were dispatched to the pharmacy located on the 500 block of 12th Street, Southeast, following a report of stolen merchandise. The suspects allegedly entered the establishment, committed the theft, and then fled from the scene.
In an endeavor to locate these individuals, the authorities have shared images from surveillance footage showing the suspects. The MPD has made it clear that anyone with information that could lead to the identification, or has knowledge of the incident, should call police at (202) 727-9099.
Additionally, they have encouraged citizens to text their tips to the police TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The police department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that results in an arrest and indictment of those responsible for this, or any other crime in the District of Columbia.
