
The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking assistance from the community in tracking down six individuals involved in a retail theft incident that occurred earlier this week. According to MPD release, the theft took place on Monday, at around 7:35 p.m. on the 3200 block of M Street, Northwest.
The suspects are accused of entering a retailer, swiping merchandise, and then making an escape in an awaiting vehicle. The event was recorded by the store's surveillance equipment, capturing clear photographs of the six suspects involved in the crime. MPD has circulated these images to enlist public support in identifying the suspects.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about these individuals to step forward and aid in the ongoing investigation. The department emphasizes that witnesses or those with knowledge of the incident should not approach the suspects directly, but instead contact the police. In a bid to encourage public involvement, the Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.
