The cold-formed, machined powertrain components producer has been a staple in the Detroit area since 2003, providing a range of parts for automotive and other industries. The company's leap to increase its production space by 15,000 square feet is a clear indicator of its ambition to not only grow but also innovate within its sector.
The expansion has brought with it more than just additional space. It is expected to create between five to 15 full-time job opportunities, a move that will surely positively impact the local economy. Nestled in a 56,000 square foot industrial building, MFC Netform's facility is a beacon of industrial growth in the region. Following a substantial investment estimated at around $4 million, the company inaugurated the expanded space with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 17, as reported by Macomb County.
Behind the scenes, the Macomb County Planning and Economic Development (MCPED) has played a vital role in this development story. From handling the tax abatement application to steering the approval process, MCPED's guidance has been instrumental in bringing this expansion project to fruition. Its completion this year marks a milestone for MFC Netform, which recently held an open house to showcase its new capabilities.
