The Michigan Fireworks Safety Act spells out the rules, but it's up to Michiganders to adhere to them, fireworks can be legally discharged after 11 a.m. from June 29 to July 4, and until 11:45 p.m. on these days, and if July 5 happens to fall on a Friday or Saturday, festivities can continue until the same time.
