The Milwaukee Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in the case of a forcibly stolen dog named Pincho. FOX6 News reported that this robbery took place near 15th and Cleveland, occurring at approximately 4 a.m. yesterday, June 30.
Described as a slim-build male, the suspect managed to take Pincho, a 2-year-old beagle and terrier mix, and was seen escaping the scene in an older model silver vehicle. While the search continues, the details of the suspect remain scant, leaving the community on alert and the owner without their companion.
According to information obtained by CBS58, in addition to being a mixed breed, the dog is male. The emotional toll of such an event on the owners, who suffer the absence of their beloved pet, is significant. As of now, the authorities are still piecing together the circumstances that led to Pincho's abduction.
Further appeals for public cooperation have been disseminated, with WTMJ echoing the call for information that could lead to the recovery of Pincho. The community, while shaken by the morning's events, has been asked to report any sightings of the older model silver vehicle that, presumably making a quick getaway, the suspect drove after the robbery.
