A fatal officer-involved shooting in Milwaukee, following a multi-agency pursuit, is under investigation. On Thursday, an overnight homicide occurred, and a Shorewood police officer was also shot. This led to a manhunt for the suspect. Around 9:23 a.m., authorities stopped the suspect's vehicle, which led to a chase. During the chase, the suspect fired at officers. The situation ended near W Reservoir Ave and N Dr. William Finlayson Street in Milwaukee, where officers returned fire and fatally wounded the suspect. The suspect’s identity has not been released, as reported by the Glendale Police Department.
