
The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the early morning hours today. According to a report obtained by WISN, the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. near North 84th Street and West Fairmount Avenue, a stone's throw from Timmerman Airport. The victim of the shooting, a 25-year-old whose identity has yet to be disclosed, succumbed to their injuries. WISN notes that no arrests have been made as the circumstances leading up to this tragic event are still being pieced together by authorities.
Adding to the unfolding story, TMJ4 reported that the shooting occurred in the vicinity of 84th and Grantosa Drive. Found at the scene, the 25-year-old was pronounced dead before they could be transported to medical facilities. Identifying herself as the victim's girlfriend, she revealed details surrounding the incident which unfolded while she was in the planning stages of sleep in the same room as the victim when someone fired shots through their window. The bullets struck and ultimately killed her boyfriend. Prior to the gunfire, an altercation over the victim's vehicle had reportedly occurred.
