
Montgomery County Police detectives are on the lookout for two individuals involved in an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven Store on Rollins Avenue in Rockville this past Monday, with the department seeking help from the public to track down the suspects captured on surveillance footage.
The crime unfolded as one suspect engaged the cashier, attempting to divert attention by walking up to the cashier and then to the food display, ordering food, while the second suspect entered, leaped over the counter, brandishing a kitchen knife, directing the first on what to steal, and both fled towards E. Jefferson Street, after grabbing items, the department released a statement.
Descriptions for both suspects are available thanks to the store's surveillance: one as a Black male, 16 to 19, with short hair, dressed in a black t-shirt, dark jeans, tennis shoes, and carrying a black cross-body bag; the other is also a Black male, wearing a black puffer jacket, ski mask, blue backpack, ripped light blue jeans, and Nike Jordan, threatening the cashier with a knife during the incident.
