
Nevada Task Force 1 has returned from Kerr County, Texas, after assisting with flood response operations. Clark County Nevada reported that the team of 47 members and K9 units was deployed on July 8 and spent nearly three weeks working in challenging conditions.
Responders from multiple local agencies in the Las Vegas Valley deployed under the Federal Emergency Management Agency have returned after assisting in response to the recent floods in Texas. The team provided support in rescue and recovery efforts during the disaster. Their return marks the conclusion of their deployment to the affected areas, as stated by the Clark County Nevada.
Nevada Task Force 1 has returned after assisting with disaster relief in central Texas, according to the Clark County Nevada on their X account. The County stated, “Through incredibly tough conditions, the team showed skill, resilience, and compassion.” The message added, “We are proud of the work they did and grateful for the warm support they received from central Texas and from everyone back home.”
