
The New York Police Department is on the lookout for a suspect involved in an assault incident that occurred in Brooklyn last month. Authorities shared details of the case in a social media post, making a public appeal for assistance in capturing the individual responsible for the attack on a 68-year-old man. The assault, according to the NYPD Crimestoppers Facebook page, took place on June 19, around 2:50 PM in front of 2830 Pitkin Avenue, Brooklyn.
During a heated verbal altercation, the victim was repeatedly punched in the face by the unidentified assailant, leading to a laceration. After the attack, the perpetrator fled by foot towards the west on Pitkin Avenue, and has managed to evade capture since. The incident has spurred a search by the NYPD, who is now turning to the public to gather any information on the suspect's whereabouts or identity.
