The New York Police Department is on the hunt for a suspect following a reported assault in Brooklyn earlier this month. According to a social media post by NYPD Crimestoppers, the incident took place on July 9, around 1:45 p.m. on Avenue X. The altercation began when a 26-year-old man, driving his vehicle, passed an individual on a bicycle.
As stated by the NYPD's report, the cyclist became enraged after being overtaken, subsequently attacking the motorist's vehicle with a bike chain. The impact of the chain caused the vehicle's window to shatter. In an attempt to subdue the aggressor, the motorist engaged, but the individual lashed out, striking him multiple times with the bike chain.
