
A crash happened on Monday evening in northwest Las Vegas at Buffalo Drive and Elkhorn Road around 7:05 p.m. A 2018 Toyota Avalon was turning left when it was hit by a 2007 Nissan Xterra. A 73-year-old woman in the Toyota was "mechanically extracted" and later pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people were injured, according to News 3 LV.
A black SUV and a white sedan crashed at the intersection of Elkhorn Road and Buffalo Drive in Las Vegas. Both drivers were taken to UMC with minor injuries. Police said neither driver showed signs of impairment. The intersection was closed during the investigation, as reported by 8 News Now. The sedan was traveling west on Elkhorn Road, and the SUV was heading north on Buffalo Drive.
