Earlier today, tragedy struck in Plant City as a house fire claimed the life of one individual. According to a report from WFLA, the fire erupted around 4:30 a.m., as neighbors rapidly called for help. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue arrived on the scene at the Frank Moore Road residence to find significant flames breaching through the rooftop.
The effort to extinguish the blaze was fierce but brief. HCFR reported that the fire was out within six minutes. However, amidst the charred remains, firefighters discovered one person dead inside the home. As of now, the State Fire Marshal has taken up the task to thoroughly investigate and try to determine the fire's cause, a process that becomes a somber routine in the wake of such loss.
