A fire engulfing a home in Orange County's Pine Hills area sent one individual to the hospital last night. Flames were visible shooting from the roof of the residence located on Meridian Way, near Robbins Avenue, as fire crews arrived on the scene, reported WFTV.

Having battled through the blaze, firefighters performed a rush search of the burning building, finding a single occupant amidst the chaos. Following the rescue, "During the search of the structure, a (patient) was found," Orange County Fire Rescue remarked in a statement given to ClickOrlando.

The victim, whose identity has yet to be disclosed, was subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not made immediately available to the public.
