Early Monday morning, a pedestrian was hit and killed in a hit-and-run in Sacramento’s Natomas neighborhood. According to ABC10, police responded to a call just before 2 a.m. near Del Paso Road and Town Center Drive. When officers arrived, they found an adult male dead in the roadway.
Police found a vehicle believed to be connected to the incident a short distance from the scene shortly afterward and detained one person. The identity of the deceased has not been released. The Major Collision Investigation Unit and Crime Scene Investigators are handling the case, as reported by ABC10.
The Sacramento Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that happened around 1:54 a.m. One person was detained near the scene, as mentioned by KCRA.
