A graze wound to the head led a man to seek medical attention at a Pittsburgh hospital yesterday, as local authorities begin to piece together the events surrounding the incident. According to WPXI, the unnamed individual arrived at approximately 7:30 p.m. and is reported to be in stable condition.
The incident appears to be linked to a reported altercation and shots fired at a residence on Rhine Street in the Spring Hill neighborhood. Pittsburgh Public Safety has since been investigating the disturbance. As officers responded to the scene, they discovered another man who suffered lacerations to his head. Still, he had refused transport to a hospital, as indicated by a brief report from WTAE.
Details regarding what led to the fight and the shooting are currently under investigation. No arrests have been made at this time, and the identities of those involved have not been released. The condition of the second man who refused hospital care is also not disclosed.
