Last Friday, the Placer County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Sierra College Boulevard in Granite Bay. Deputies pulled over a green Toyota sedan for a vehicle code violation, as reported by the Placer County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies stopped a green Toyota and found that the driver, 53‑year‑old David Aragon, had prior violent felony convictions. The passenger was under Mandatory Supervision Probation for vehicle theft. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located brass knuckles, a baton, several knives, a taser, a loaded unregistered handgun, and about 28 grams of methamphetamine, as stated by the Placer County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office on their Facebook page, Aragon was arrested and booked into jail on multiple charges. These include felon in possession of a loaded firearm with two prior violent felony convictions and possession of a loaded firearm while in possession of narcotics.
