A beachfront property in Playa Del Rey belonging to WWE superstars Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch was the target of a burglary, Los Angeles police confirmed. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning while the couple was out of town following a WWE event. ABC7 reports that a rear glass door was shattered and an estimated $5,000 to $10,000 in cash was taken from the home.
According to information provided by law enforcement sources to NBCLA, officers arrived on the scene to find a smashed glass sliding window at the rear of the house. No one was at the home at the time of the break-in, and no arrests have been reported as of Tuesday morning. The burglary was discovered around 2:30 a.m., just hours after the couple participated in Monday Night RAW in Rhode Island.
This incident marks yet another high-profile burglary in the Southern California area. Rollins and Lynch, who have a four-year-old child together, frequently share glimpses of their personal lives on social media, potentially making their abode a more visible target for opportunistic criminals. TMZ Sports noted that Lynch had recently posted an image on her Instagram showing Rollins in the living room of their residence.
The investigation into the burglary is still ongoing. Rollins was the individual who initially made the 911 call to report it, according to TMZ Sports. As celebrities and athletes continue to be targeted, security measures in affluent neighborhoods remain a growing concern for many residents. The Los Angeles Police Department has yet to make any arrests in connection to this specific case.
