
Tragedy struck Milwaukee's north side last night when a police chase culminated in a fatal collision involving a pedestrian. According to details released by the Milwaukee Police Department, officers attempted to stop a reckless driver near 37th Street and Fond du Lac Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. The driver failed to comply, leading to a high-speed pursuit that ended in disaster. The chase came to a horrific close when the suspect, a 35-year-old man, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a bus shelter and two parked cars before fatally striking a 55-year-old pedestrian.
