Chaos erupted at the Route 41 Bar & Grill in Oak Creek where a massive fight involving around 60 patrons broke out yesterday afternoon, leaving two men injured and one in a highly intoxicated state. According to FOX6 News, the Oak Creek Police Department (OCPD) was dispatched around 5 p.m. to handle the brawl and requested assistance from the Franklin Police Department due to the scale of the altercation.

There was a notable presence of police at the Oak Creek watering hole, where the fight reportedly led to two 32-year-old men sustaining minor injuries. "Police said there were reports of at least 60 people involved in the fight," as per FOX6 News. Both men refused to go to the hospital and were treated at the scene. In a connected incident, a 23-year-old man was transported to a hospital due to his intoxicated condition.

Further complicating matters, a motorcycle hastily left the premises upon the officers' arrival. Franklin Police engaged in a brief chase after the motorcyclist who fled from the scene. However, the pursuit was called off as it was "unclear if that motorcyclist was involved in the fight at the bar," according to TMJ4. The motorcyclist's involvement in the incident is still under investigation.

Interestingly, the bar was set to honor a previous tragedy on the same day. According to JSOnline, the Route 41 Bar & Grill was host to a commemorative event celebrating the life of Vincent Weinhold, who met his demise three years prior in a similar act of violence. The event featured a poker run, live music, and a 50/50 raffle. It's unclear how these spirited proceedings devolved into the altercation that necessitated police involvement.
