Port Huron Police are intensifying their efforts, in the search for a missing 13-year-old girl, Avelyn Nicole Hunt, who disappeared from her foster home last Tuesday. According to a report from ClickOnDetroit, Avelyn is described as 5 feet tall, weighing 120 pounds with black hair, and brown eyes. Police noted that she was last seen leaving her foster home and is believed to have taken an Uber from the scene.
The Missing Child Alert has released additional information about Avelyn to strengthen efforts to locate her. The social media post reiterates the girl's description and notes that she may go by the name "Ave" and has pierced ears. Authorities indicate she could still be in the local area or may have traveled to Detroit or Saint Clair, Michigan.

Since Avelyn’s disappearance, her family has not heard from her, and her presence on social media has been minimal. Information can also be submitted digitally using the PHPD Mobile App or by texting the keyword “CAPTURE” to 847411, followed by the tip details, as ClickOnDetroit reported.
