
A Robinson Township police officer has been sidelined with pay amid an investigation into an off-duty road rage incident. According to reports from CBS News, the officer in question, Steve Pies, allegedly followed an individual to their place of work on July 2nd, resulting in a physical altercation.
While specific details of the altercation remain unconfirmed by officials, sources close to the investigation claim that the encounter required the victim to seek medical attention. With the probe into the incident underway, the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office now faces the decision on whether to levy criminal charges against Pies, as reported by Audacy.
