
An early morning explosion in Rosedale left a house completely decimated, prompting a response from emergency crews and ongoing investigations into the cause. According to FOX Baltimore, the Baltimore County Fire Department reported that the explosion occurred on the 8100 block of Callo Lane. By the time first responders arrived, the structure had already been destroyed. Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control shortly before 3 a.m.
As the investigation into the explosion continues, both Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) and fire investigators have arrived on the scene to assist in determining the cause. The authorities have not confirmed the cause of the explosion, but the fire was under control by 2:59 a.m., and they are currently investigating all possible causes of this incident.
Neighbors reported, according to WBAL-TV, that they believe the house was unoccupied at the time of the explosion, which the Baltimore County Fire Department confirmed at 7:30 a.m. According to an interview with the neighbors, the situation remains active.
