A 36-year-old Rosedale man has been charged in the fatal shooting of another man in Southeast Baltimore on Independence Day, according to local authorities. The Baltimore Police Department has identified Davon Kelly as the suspect in the death of 38-year-old Aaron Hill, as reported by FOX Baltimore. Kelly faces charges of first and second-degree murder following an altercation that police say led to gunfire and Hill's untimely demise.
Police were called to the 3500 block of Esther Place on the night of the incident, specifically at 11:51 p.m., to respond to reports of shots being fired immediately. Upon their arrival, they discovered Hill with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical technicians. Kelly was arrested last Monday and has since been transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, according to NottinghamMD.
