Bay Area commuters, take note. The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has delivered a slice of relief for those navigating Route 67. The vital stretch of Lindbergh Boulevard, a key arterial near Deer Creek just a stone's throw north of I-64 in Frontenac, is set for a grand reopening. Get ready to go — the bridge is set to reopen tomorrow by 5 p.m. after two months of repairs by MoDOT.
While the bridge is reopening to traffic, MoDOT officials say drivers should expect occasional lane closures in the coming days. These brief closures will happen during off-peak hours to reduce traffic disruption as crews finish up the remaining work.
Located just before German Boulevard/Conway Road, the bridge has undergone major repairs and is now ready for use again. Local drivers have dealt with delays and detours during the project, but MoDOT’s work has helped strengthen the structure for long-term safety. As traffic returns to Route 67 this weekend, drivers can travel with more confidence.
