Today, there is a 50% chance of precipitation with possible rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch, primarily after 10 am. The high is expected to hover near a comfortable 89 degrees, while the light east wind will shift southeast, ranging from 5 to 10 mph. The National Weather Service advises residents to be prepared for sporadic showers throughout the day.
As the evening approaches, the possibility of showers and thunderstorms drops to 20% before 10 pm, giving way to mostly cloudy skies and a low of around 75 degrees. The southeast wind, persisting from earlier in the day, will continue to blow at a speed of 5 to 10 mph, according to the same forecast. Heading into Thursday, rain chances pick back up to 40% with thunderstorms also entering the scene post 1 pm, while breeze gusts might ramp up as high as 20 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
Despite some rain early in the week, temperatures will stay hot, ranging from the high 80s to low 90s. By the Fourth of July, it’ll reach about 92 degrees. The weekend looks better, with partly sunny skies on Saturday and a high near 93. Saturday night will be warm and partly cloudy, with a low around 76, as reported by the National Weather Service.
On Sunday, expect lots of sunshine and a high of 94. This sunny weather will continue into next week, so you can put away your umbrella. Monday and Tuesday could hit 96 degrees, perfect for those who enjoy the heat, as per the National Weather Service.
