Eight years have passed since the murder of 23-year-old Christopher Lozano, and the San Antonio Police, along with Crime Stoppers, are reaching out to the public in a renewed appeal for information. Lozano was fatally shot outside a residence in the 3500 block of El Paso Street on the night of July 27, 2017. Despite the passage of time, the case remains unsolved, with the shooter or shooters still at large.
The circumstances of that night are still clear: Lozano was outside when an individual in a gray four-door Nissan opened fire, as reported by Fox San Antonio. After being struck by the gunfire, he was quickly taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. A motive for the shooting has not been determined, and no suspects have been identified by authorities.
Authorities continue to seek community assistance in solving the case. Investigators encourage anyone with information—no matter how minor it may seem—to come forward, as it could be vital to the ongoing investigation. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to a felony arrest in connection with the case.
