The Sevier County Sheriff's Office has recently spotlighted two of its own as Officers of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2025, citing their dedication and positive impact within the community. Sheriff Michael R. Hodges, Jr. recognized FTO Kyle Magnetti from the D Shift Patrol Division and Corrections Officer Austin Parton from the A Shift at the Annex. According to the Sevier County Sheriff's Office, the officers have displayed exceptional qualities that align with the department's high standards.
FTO Kyle Magnetti earned his title for the quarter as a direct result of being nominated by two supervisors who highlighted his proactive approach to traffic enforcement and his dependable presence in local neighborhoods. Even when mid-shifts staffing fell short, Magnetti adjusted his schedule to ensure comprehensive coverage, his dedication spilled over to community relations with members commending his professionalism on calls for service and his superiors noting his impeccable attendance, coupled with a consistently positive attitude.
Meanwhile, Corrections Officer Austin Parton, while not serving in an FTO role, has been proactive in training new hires, providing much-needed mentorship during a period marked by significant recruitment. His selflessness is evidenced by his volunteering spirit, whether for covering shifts, undertaking transport duties, or clocking training overtime—often on his off days. What's more, Parton also secured a position on the CERT Team, following an intensive selection process—further testament to his capacity and dedication to the force.
"Congratulations, gentlemen! Your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence reflect the highest standards of the Sevier County Sheriff's Office," reads the warm accolade on the Sevier County Sheriff's Office's social media.
