Shelby Township Police are investigating a homicide after a woman’s body was found on Saturday morning at Lakeside Park Apartments on Lakeside Park Drive. Officers had responded to a 911 call that was abruptly disconnected, according to CBS News Detroit.
Shelby Township Police made one arrest after the incident and said there is no ongoing threat to public safety. Officers remain at the scene as the investigation continues. FOX 2 Detroit reported that the victim’s identity has not been released because the family has not yet been notified.
