The Broward Sheriff's Office is intensifying efforts to locate Summer Leo, a 30-year-old woman reported missing in Pompano Beach, and last seen on Sunday. According to WSVN, Leo was spotted exiting a Target store at approximately 6:54 p.m., before entering a white BMW M340i, bearing the Florida license plate "AH34SK".
The vehicle, registered to Timothy Bowman, 39, was subsequently spotted in the Tampa area, sparking concern among law enforcement. "Detectives said they believe the circumstances of Leo’s disappearance may be 'suspicious'," as FOX 13 News reported. The nature of the relationship, if any, between Bowman and Leo is yet to be clarified by officials.
In an ongoing search, the Broward Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information related to the whereabouts of Summer Leo or Timothy Bowman, or sightings of the involved vehicle, to come forward. As noted by WFLA, Detective Shane Fairbanks can be reached at 954-321-4380, or contact can be made with the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-HELP (4357).
The urgency surrounding this case has been compounded by the label of "suspicious" attached to Leo’s disappearance, a term echoed across reporting by both local and national outlets. The Broward Sheriff's Office has not released further details since Leo was last seen, but it remains active in gathering information and conducting searches to ensure her safety and clarify the pending mysteries wrapped around her sudden absence, as first highlighted by local news coverage.
