In a recent social media alert, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office made public the arrest of contractor Jeremy Homar, who is facing multiple charges including exploitation of an elderly or disabled person, grand theft, fraudulent use of personal identification, sexual cyberharassment, and unlicensed contracting. The post, originating from their official Facebook page, implores anyone who might have had dealings with Homar and suspects misconduct to step forward. The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office plea emphasizes the significance of community involvement in piecing together the ongoing investigation.
Falling on the community to help bring clarity to this case, with Homar having potentially taken advantage of St. Johns' residents, the call to action is clear. "If Jeremy Homar has performed contracting work for you and you believe he has been inappropriate, has stolen from you, or committed fraud, please contact the SJSO Property Crimes Unit at (904) 209-1539," the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office posted.
The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is actively encouraging anyone who feels they may have been victimized by Homar to report their experiences.
