After the state agencies pore over the document for 60 days, an adoption hearing will decide its fate. This is no small print; it's intended to replace the county's current 2025 Comprehensive Plan. Mike Roberson, Director of the Growth Management Department, told the community, "This is a huge milestone for St. Johns County. This plan helps residents identify their vision for the future of the community, coordinates local decision-making, and provides guidance to landowners and developers," as per the St. Johns County news release.
