The club, which operates under the St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department, ensured that the new site aligns with the top-tier services offered at its 18-hole facility. According to an official announcement from St. Johns County, the website features detailed course information, a calendar of events, clinic updates, and the ability for players to book tee times and register for tournaments online.
Further enhancing the digital swing, golfers will soon be able to experience the culinary delight of Italiano Vero Pizzeria right at the course, a promise of sustenance after hours of club, and ball. The revamp, which followed a 2022 renovation that caught the eye of Golf Digest, comes as a representation of the club's ongoing commitment to excelling in both its physical premises and digital presence. The Office of Public Affairs marked this milestone by producing a celebratory video.
Recognition has gone beyond just infrastructure, extending to the individuals that shape the St. Johns Golf Club experience. In a nod to exceptional leadership and dedication, Director Wes Tucker was honored with the Bill Strausbaugh Award, and Assistant Golf Professional Bea Mauricio clinched the PGA Assistant Golf Professional of the Year Award, accolades bestowed by the PGA of America North Florida Section and Northern Chapter. These achievements were aptly spotlighted in a video production by the Office of Public Affairs.
Discussing the significance of the new online interface, Tucker remarked, "We now have a website reflecting the quality of the golf course while providing information."
