Local law enforcement has successfully recovered a stolen vehicle that was reported missing, found in the 17000 block of Hafer Road. The Constable deputies with Mark Herman's Office made the discovery just recently, unveiling a scheme to disguise the stolen car's identity.
According to their social media post, "During the investigation, deputies discovered that the vehicle’s license plates had been swapped in an attempt to avoid detection." The investigation to identify and apprehend those responsible is ongoing.
