A motorcyclist's high-speed escapade came to an abrupt end in the Cypresswood Subdivision when deputies intervened, potentially avoiding further harm to the community. According to the Constable Mark Herman’s Office Facebook page, the incident occurred on Loring Drive where the suspect was initially pulled over for speeding through the residential zone.
After stopping for the deputies, the motorcyclist attempted to quickly to flee on foot, only to return to their motorcycle in a failed bid to evade capture. The Constable's Office reported that the suspect subsequently crashed into an unoccupied vehicle.
Emergency Medical Services was consequently dispatched to evaluate the suspect for any injuries. Details on the suspect’s condition have not been disclosed. However, it was confirmed that after the medical assessment, the suspect would be transported to the Harris County Jail.
