Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office took a suspected drunk driver off the road last week after conducting a traffic stop on Tomball Parkway. The individual, identified as Edgar Davis, showed clear signs of intoxication, which prompted law enforcement to administer a battery of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.
The tests confirmed what the deputies' senses had already told them: Davis was indeed under the influence, with a blood alcohol content measured at 0.136, well over the legal limit. In a revelation of what happens when one flouts the law and the constabulary steps in, "Edgar Davis was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated," said Constable Mark Herman, according to the Precinct 4 Facebook page. The bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 16.
