Chaos ensued on Lyons School Road when a minor crash turned into a hit-and-run incident yesterday. Constable Mark Herman’s Office deputies arrived on the scene to find that the suspect had made a swift getaway into an adjacent apartment complex. However, officers were quick on the trail, locating the suspect vehicle and the driver, who was soon to face sobering consequences.
Identified as Henry Juc Choc, the driver was exhibiting clear signs of intoxication, prompting deputies to administer Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Following his failure to pass these initial roadside assessments, the constables placed him under arrest. According to a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman’s Office, Juc Choc's breathalyzer results at the Harris County Jail recorded double the legal alcohol limit, solidifying the case against him.
"Henry Juc Choc was arrested and charged with Fail to Stop and Give Information and Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $200.00 out of County Court 2," read the statement from Constable Mark Herman's Office.
