A tragic event unfolded at an Arapahoe County house party on Saturday night, where a teenager's life was abruptly ended by gunshot wounds. According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred just before midnight. Deputies found a 19-year-old male victim on the driveway of a home in the 18900 block of E. Crestridge Cir. after responding to a shots fired call. Attempts to save his life were in vain, as he was pronounced dead at the scene by South Metro Fire Rescue paramedics.
In connection with the fatal shooting, deputies have apprehended a 17-year-old male suspect charged with first-degree murder. However, the investigation remains active as authorities are also in search of another suspect, believed to also be a teenager around 17 or 18 years old, heavy set and standing between 5'10" to 6' tall, weighing about 220 lbs. with blonde hair. Standing as remnants of the tragedy, the investigators are calling for witnesses who were present at the party to step forward.
Information about this ongoing investigation can contribute significantly to delivering justice. The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office urgently requests anyone with knowledge of the events that night to contact their Investigations Tipline at 720-874-8477, as posted on their official Facebook page. They emphasize that witnesses can remain anonymous, hopefully encouraging more individuals to come forward.
