An incident last Monday evening led to the arrest of a Texas woman after she abandoned her vehicle in a main lane of traffic, causing a two-vehicle collision. According to a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman's Office, deputies responded to the crash site around 10:46pm on FM 1960 W. Upon investigation, they found the car left in the road without lights and subsequently traced it back to the driver, Michelle Guerrero.
Guerrero's connection to the vehicle was confirmed by her Texas Drivers License left behind in the abandoned car. She was located at a nearby residence and admitted to having operated and left the vehicle on the road. Along with the identification, deputies also found an open container of alcohol, unopened alcohol bottles, and marijuana within the vehicle.
"Michelle Guerrero was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Obstruction of a Highway. Her bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 7," stated Constable Mark Herman, as noted by the Precinct 4 Facebook page.
