
Two individuals were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on a highway near Battle Creek, amidst what was described by law enforcement as "heavy holiday traffic." According to a report from WOODTV, the incident occurred yesterday and involved three vehicles on Interstate 94, with at least one person being trapped as a result of the crash.
The Michigan State Police (MSP) reported the accident on social media, announcing that the westbound section of I-94 near Beadle Lake Road was completely shut down due to the collision. Despite the lack of immediate details, the MSP advised commuters to seek alternate routes during the disruption. "Details on the crash are still pending but an alternate route is advised," the MSP Fifth District posted. An investigation into the crash is ongoing, with the dynamics of the collision involving a pickup truck speeding in slow-moving traffic, leading to its collision with an SUV, and subsequently a third vehicle.

Of the people involved in the crash, two drivers were hospitalized with injuries that have not yet been disclosed to the public. The road was later reopened after a three-hour closure to manage the aftermath of the accident and conduct preliminary investigations.
