
Early this morning, chaos erupted in Grand Rapids when two individuals, a man and a woman, were reported to have been injured in a shooting at Rosa Parks Circle. Police had initially been called to the area due to reports of a sizeable gathering and vehicles engaging in reckless driving, as reported by News 8.
The time was around 2 a.m. when police arrived to ensure safety, only to quickly find themselves having to suddenly shift focus upon hearing gunshots. According to WZZM 13, they discovered a woman with a bullet wound to her hip, and she was swiftly transported to the hospital by ambulance. Within a mere 15 minutes, a man, too, appeared at the hospital bearing a gunshot wound to his lower leg.
Neither injury was considered to threaten the lives of those affected, bringing a relative sense of relief amidst the turmoil. The police, having not yet identified any suspects connected to the incident, have appealed to the public for information to further their investigation.
