
Two pedestrians were struck by an SUV in Petaluma, resulting in severe injuries for the victims. The incident occurred yesterday at the Petaluma Blvd N and B Street intersection, as confirmed by the Petaluma Police Department.
Reports indicate that the pedestrians were lawfully crossing the street in a marked crosswalk when they were hit. Police and fire department personnel arrived promptly after responding to calls from the community. While the injured parties were quickly transported to local hospitals, one individual is battling life-threatening injuries, as detailed by the Petaluma Police Department. It remains to be determined whether to charge the SUV driver, who has cooperated with investigators and remained at the scene. So far, alcohol or drugs do not appear to have played any part in the tragic incident.
