
Two men were taken into custody after a stabbing incident on Sunday afternoon on the 7900 block of Auburn Boulevard in Citrus Heights. Police said the stabbings occurred inside a local business following multiple emergency calls reporting the altercation, according to the City of Citrus Heights.
Two men were hospitalized with stab wounds after police in Citrus Heights provided immediate first aid until paramedics arrived. Witnesses gave detailed accounts that helped officers locate the suspects, leading to the arrest of 19-year-old Alejandro Roque Jr. and 18-year-old Moses Leyva in Antelope following a planned vehicle stop, where two concealed firearms were recovered. Both victims are expected to survive, as reported by the City of Citrus Heights.
Roque is charged with felony battery causing serious bodily injury and illegal possession of a concealed firearm. Leyva faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon and carrying a concealed firearm. Both are being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail. The investigation is ongoing, and police are seeking additional persons of interest.
