Two arrests have been made in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 66-year-old man that occurred in Marysville back in March. According to HeraldNet, the first suspect, Stuard, was apprehended on July 2, and his bail was set at two million dollars by the Snohomish County District Court. The Marysville Police Department responded to a call on the morning of March 31 after a neighbor found the victim, Gheorghe Sandru, lying unconscious, and an attempt at performing CPR was already underway when the officers arrived. Sandru, who had been stabbed in the chest, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Last Friday, the second suspect, Elliott, was taken into custody with the aid of the Violent Offenders Task Force. Information regarding Elliott's arrest and his bail status was sparingly detailed by FOX 13 Seattle. Both suspects are currently being held at Snohomish County Jail on charges of first and second-degree murder.
