The UNLV Lady Rebels, under the guidance of head coach Lindy La Rocque, have unveiled their non-conference matchups for the 2025-26 season, and fans are gearing up for what looks to be an exciting lineup before Mountain West play kicks in. Starting with a yet-to-be-determined opponent on October 29 in an exhibition game, the Lady Rebels are setting the stage for a challenging run.
The regular season will tip off at home against Washington State on November 5. Continuing their home-court advantage, the Lady Rebels will face DePaul on November 9 and take on Baylor on November 14, a matchup likely to draw considerable attention given the storied programs. With the Baylor game being watched with keen interest, UNLV is manually aiming to establish its dominance early in the season.
According to the information provided by UNLV's official athletic site, the team then ventures on its first road trip to Montana State on November 18, followed by a game against Arizona State on November 22. The Lady Rebels will circle back to Las Vegas to host the Thanksgiving Turkey tip-off at the Thomas & Mack Center, the annual event featuring games against Creighton on November 26 and Northern Iowa on November 28.
Exiting the Thanksgiving break, before the National Finals Rodeo takes over their facilities, the Lady Rebels wrap up their non-conference crusade with a series of road trips. In their facilities being occupied by the National Finals Rodeo, they will face UTSA in San Antonio on December 3, followed by a game against Rice in Houston on December 6, closing out with a contest at Cincinnati on December 13. Eager fans wanting to secure their spots for these games can purchase season tickets, now available for $75 with various discounts for seniors and affiliated members of UNLV.
The full Mountain West schedule for the Lady Rebels is expected to be announced soon. Last season, the team won the Mountain West regular-season championship. According to News 3 LV, the Lady Rebels aim to use their non-conference games to prepare for postseason play following last year’s conference tournament outcome.
